PHG2
Dramiński PHG2 pH Tester
Effective and Accurate pH Meter not only for Farmers
Don’t Risk It! Invest in a Professional pH Meter
The second-generation Dramiński PHG digital pH meter for soil and liquids (e.g., feed) is a professional and essential tool in various industries. It allows you to quickly and accurately check the concentration of hydrogen ions expressed in pH units. Additionally, it measures voltage (mV) and temperature (°C/°F). The PHG2 is based on a device that has successfully served our clients since 1996. The new model maintains the accuracy and durability of its predecessor while featuring a large backlit display, user-updatable software, a multilingual menu with device settings, tool-free battery replacement, battery charge indicator, built-in memory for storing numerous measurements with date and time, free software for further data analysis on a computer, and the ability to catalog data by entered object names. All this and more is contained in the Dramiński PHG2 pH meter, making it a reliable, versatile device with a measurement accuracy of ±0.05 pH that is worth investing in and enjoying for many years!
Why is measuring soil pH with the Dramiński pH meter so important?
It’s an essential step in plant cultivation for several key reasons. Firstly, soil acidity levels affect nutrient uptake by plants. Soils with inappropriate pH can prevent plants from absorbing essential nutrients, leading to reduced yields and crop quality, and even a lack of vegetation. Proper soil pH is crucial for microorganisms living in the soil, which impact its health and structure. Inappropriate pH can disrupt the development of these microorganisms, affecting soil quality. Additionally, controlling soil acidity levels allows for adjusting farming activities, such as fertilizer application, to the specific needs of the crop. Optimal pH values can vary depending on the plant species or variety being grown, so accurate measurements enable effective soil management, resulting in better outcomes and financial results. Therefore, measuring soil pH is essential for maintaining healthy crops, optimal resource use, and sustainable agriculture.
Why should you buy the DRAMIŃSKI PHG2 pH tester?
COMFORT AND SAFETY
We are a proud European manufacturer, with our headquarters and production facilities located in Poland. Our meter comes with a 2-year warranty and does not require periodic calibrations. We hold two highly demanding Quality Management System certifications, ISO 9001 and ISO 13485, which confirm our professionalism and the highest product quality.
MODERN DESIGN
The soil acidity meter is built on modern and reliable low-energy integrated circuits. A microcomputer controls the device, enabling precise operation. The four buttons on the keyboard combined with screen prompts guarantee intuitive and convenient use.
TWO OPERATING MODES
To assist beginners and meet the expectations of the most demanding users, the device menu allows you to select the desired operating mode (basic or advanced).
- In basic mode, we focus on ease of use and quick, convenient measurement, making it user-friendly even for beginners.
- In advanced mode, options include saving measurements to the device’s internal memory with date and time, real-time clock, voltage measurement, adding objects to which measurements are assigned, viewing saved readings, and many other features.
HUGE INTERNAL STORAGE CAPACITY
- Capability to save 1 million measurements with date and time.
- Ability to add 250 different object names to which measurements will be assigned. Assigning individual names makes it easier to monitor soil pH in your orchard, garden, or during lawn care for your client. The object can be, for example, a testing location, type of material tested, or the name of the client for whom the measurement is performed.
- Support for 20 language versions.
PROFESSIONAL PROBES
- pH-metric probe: Glass electrode with a narrowing and ceramic diaphragm filled with reference electrolyte (1 mol KCl). This type of electrode allows for very precise measurements, achieving an accuracy of + – 0.05pH in combination with the Dramiński PHG2 meter.
- Temperature probe: Made of stainless steel, solid and very accurate (± 0.5°C). Temperature compensation is a crucial element for obtaining correct readings, as the pH of the tested material changes with temperature. PHG2 has an automatic compensation function, significantly enhancing accuracy and convenience during testing.
USB PORT
Durable mini USB port secured with a rubber seal. Using the included USB cable, data can be transferred to a computer, and software updates can be performed independently.
DATA TRANSMISSION SOFTWARE
Free, multilingual software for data transmission to a computer. The program allows for generating spreadsheets (Excel), measurement reports (e.g., by execution date), graphical presentation of pH changes over time, filtering readings by date, viewing collected data, archiving limited only by the computer’s disk capacity, saving documents as PDF, printing, and many other useful functions.
SO MUCH IN SUCH A SMALL DEVICE
The device menu offers many options, such as:
- Automatic average result calculation (information about the number of measurements and the highest and lowest readings)
- Language version selection
- Temperature scales: °C and °F
- Temperature compensation: manual and automatic
- Full display settings adjustment
- Setting the automatic device shutdown time
- Managing measurement objects (adding, editing, deleting, quick selection from the list)
- Saving current or average results
- Viewing saved readings
- Viewing and editing SLOPE and BUFFER parameters
- Voltage measurement of the pH-metric probe
- Compatibility with all types of pH-metric electrodes with a standard BNC-50 connector and the ability to change the buffer standard value used during calibration
- And much more
DISPLAY FOR ALL CONDITIONS
Large graphic display with energy-saving LED backlight, making the measurement result clear and visible in all conditions. The menu allows for adjusting settings: backlight duration, backlight intensity, and contrast. The display also shows a graphic battery status indicator and prompts guiding the user on what to do or which functions to use.
SOIL pH TESTING DIRECTLY IN THE FIELD
Thanks to the appropriate housing and special keyboard, the device can be held and operated with one hand, which is crucial during field measurements. Additionally, in manual compensation mode, measurements can be performed without using a temperature probe.
YOU HAVE MANY NEEDS AND DON'T KNOW WHICH pH METER TO CHOOSE? OPT FOR THE PROVEN, RECOMMENDED, AND VERY VERSATILE DRAMIŃSKI PHG2
In addition to soil pH measurement, the meter can also be used to determine the acidity of liquids (e.g., feed, spray liquids, pool water, aquariums, etc.). Need an accurate meter for testing the pH of sewage, skin, paper, oil products, fish products, meat products, etc.? PHG2 is also for you! The tester can work with all types of pH-metric electrodes with a standard BNC-50 connector. The device menu allows for changing the buffer standard value used for electrode calibration.
PRECISE MEASUREMENT
The meter determines the concentration of hydrogen ions with an accuracy of ± 0.05 pH. Additionally, it measures temperature with an accuracy of ± 0.5°C (± 0.9°F) and voltage with an accuracy of 1 mV (0.73 mV in pH measurement mode). It has an automatic temperature compensation function and a partially automated pH-metric probe calibration process with an assessment of its usability. It allows for collecting hundreds of measurements to calculate the average value, as well as the lowest and highest readings.
EFFICIENT POWER SUPPLY
